Join the Sutro Stewards and take a guided, educational loop-hike starting and ending at Kezar Bar--where your beer dollars will help keep the Mount Sutro trails in great shape!
This 4-mile loop from Kezar Bar to the top of Mount Sutro and back will use the Sutro Stewards trail system. Along the way we will learn some of the fascinating history of the mountain dating back to 1880, locate some rare native plants, take a tour of a Native Plant Nursery, and summit the city's third-highest peak.
Our mid-way rest stop will feature a complimentary sampling of beers from the Alaskan Brewing Company.
Upon returning to Kezar Bar you can enjoy food from their outstanding menu featuring organic food and more Alaskan Beer specials.
Alaskan Brewing is proud to sponsor the Sutro Stewards Trail & Habitat program, and its thousands of community volunteers that contribute the necessary stewardship annually. Alaskan Brewing is committed to exercising environmental stewardship in every aspect of its business.
Admission: $5 Suggested Donation (Benefits Sutro Stewards) NO RSVP REQUIRED
