Our work over the last five years has created a model of sustainable multi-use trail construction and trail-side habitat restoration which allows the Sutro Stewards to lead by example and offer a showcase for our vision as we expand into adjoining open space areas.
Our success can be measured by the results of our endeavors and the recognition we've received.
You are invited to join us in the NEW The Stanyan Street Historic Trail project beginning on October 2. This new urban trail restoration project will result in a the re-opening of a half mile of trail originally constructed in the 1880's. Add that to the miles of existing trails on Mount Sutro and you can begin to realize how significant and beneficial our activities are for urban trail users.
