MISSING MEADOW

Don't be alarmed if you pass through Rotary Meadow and find a patch of bare soil in one small area. The meadow is being replanted this winter with several new species of grasses and plants which are not already found within the garden area. This is part of the intent of the original demonstration area, to determine what succeeds and what doesn't. New Map shows Trails in San Francisco

The Walker's Map of San Francisco is a great new map by Sutro Steward's cartographer, Ben Pease, who has been exploring San Francisco for more than 3 decades. This large-format topographic map shows all the City's neighborhoods, parks, and trails.

Busy First Week of December

Early on the morning of December 1, Dan, Hector and I set about reconstructing the granite bench that sits in Rotary Meadow. Fairly confidant it wouldn't be too complicated with assistance of our skilled BobCat operator Hector, we assembled at the site with rock bars and assorted tools and timber.
