Join Sutro Stewards on a guided habitat tour showcasing Mount Sutro's native plant communities in bloom this spring! See the beautiful pink flowering currant, vibrant California poppies, pollinator-favorite coast buckwheat, and many more wildflowers displaying a variety of colors. Discover the birds of Mount Sutro with Pat Greene of the Golden Gate Audubon Society. We'll look and listen for birds while we walk about two miles on the trails of Mount Sutro. We may see continuing winter birds, a few returnees and migrants, and year-round residents. Bring binoculars if you have them.

Explore Mount Sutro and our local backyard habitat while learning about plants that sustain wildlife. We’ll discover what plants need to grow, learn about leaves and seeds, and find out what animals and pollinators can be found here. Hike includes approx. one mile on dirt trails. Suggested age 7+.
