About the event
Come join Sutro Stewards for an immersive workshop exploring and learning all about our rainwater harvesting infrastructure and rare plants! Thanks to the Community Challenge Grant from the City of San Francisco, we were able to host two paid staff for a 9 month long apprenticeship. As a way to celebrate and share all that they have gained from their time here, we are offering a two part workshop highlighting the work of our two apprenticeships!
In part one, the Rainwater Harvesting Talk will highlight the role of native plants in green infrastructure as well as give an overview of the types of green infrastructure utilized on Mount Sutro. In part two, the Rare Plants Talk will be a walking tour of Mount Sutro's rare plants as well as give you insight into how we monitor rare plants here at Sutro Stewards. Light refreshments will be provided in between each…
