About the event

Saturday, April 22 | 10:00a-12:00p | Woodland Canyon Watershed

  • Featuring Ildiko Polony:  We will be exploring the oftentimes elluisive and sometimes overwhelming path of water in this walk of the Woodland Canyon Creek watershed. In June of 2022, Sutro Stewards began work to restore one of few remianing above ground creeks in San Francisco. Woodland Canyon Creek is a seasonal creek that begins on the summit of Mount Sutro and is culverted into a pipe at Stanyan Street. We envision a creek bed clear of invasive brambles, and teaming with life supported by native plants. Join us to learn about the creek, our efforts to restore it and how you can get involved.
